Q. When Did you start
in the Hobby.? I Started with budgerigars
in 1995 but had a small break in 2005, After returning to the hobby my passion
has increased to breed the ultimate winner. Q.
How many birds do you Keep and breed per year.? I
try to keep 80-100 birds in the aviary each year depending on the quality
of youngsters bred, This year so far 2006 56 rung at this
time Q.
How big is your Aviary & what seed do you use .? The
aviary has been built as two 10 x 8 foot sheds with an outside
aviary in the centre of the adjoining sheds Bucktons seed is the staple
diet but other seeds will be fed on occasions. Q.
What extras do you feed your birds chicks.? Carrots,
Boiled eggs, lettuce, sweet corn are all supplements, Cede or EMP
softfood being used with millet sprays for youngsters.
Q. Do you normally
sell birds and what's the best tip you have been given ? "Yes"
i sell birds for the pricey sum of £10.00 The best tip I've had is:- listen to
what is being said then form your own opinion Bird first colour
secondary, I keep birds for pleasure, to sit and watch them
it's a good stress reliever from grand children and to exhibit at the occasional
